Arkansas State University's second event to celebrate Martin Luther King was a small service in the student Union. The event was hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Rogers, pastor's of Fullness of Joy church. This service celebrated King by everyone coming together to enjoy great singing, dancing, and speakers. The dances were great and songs sung were enlightening. We also witnessed powerful and soulful voices from the gospel group United Voices lead by Isiah Tatum. To top off the great singing & dancing, the program had great speakers there. The mayor of Jonesboro stopped by to give encouraging words to everyone. To end the program Mr. Ollie Neal spoke, shared stories, shared knowledge, and reminded us about the dream that we should never forget.
